CR-100 is a DICONDE-aware DICOM viewer built on the Cornerstone medical-imaging engine and tuned for industrial radiography — pan, window/level, length, ROI, annotations, and a full DICONDE tag parser, without the hospital-grade PACS price tag.
Every tool in CR-100 is bound by default to a single mouse button, a single key, and a single shortcut — so the viewer fades into the background and the radiograph stays in front.
CR-100 reads more than a hundred and fifty DICONDE-specific tags — IQI placement, source-to-detector distance, exposure factors, plate identifier — alongside the standard DICOM header.
| Tag Group | Examples | Used For |
|---|---|---|
| NDT Examination | 0021,0001 · 0021,0010 | Procedure, technique, examiner |
| Indication | 0021,0030 · 0021,0040 | Defect type, location, severity |
| IQI & Sensitivity | 0021,0050 · 0021,0060 | Penetrameter type, hole, wire |
| Source & Geometry | 0021,0070 · 0021,0080 | SOD, SDD, SID, focal spot |
| Material | 0021,0090 · 0021,00A0 | Material, thickness, density |
| Plate & Scanner | 0021,00B0 · 0021,00C0 | Plate ID, scanner gain, R-factor |
Every tag is queryable, copyable, and editable — and where a tag is missing, CR-100 surfaces it without breaking the rest of the file.
CR-100 is built on Cornerstone Core, the medical-imaging library that powers a generation of open-source viewers. We use it because it's been hardened by a decade of clinical use — and we've retuned it for the way industrial radiography actually works.
cornerstone-core, cornerstone-tools, dicom-parser, and the WADO image loader — wired through a single init module.
Runs in the same browser as the rest of the platform — no plug-in, no installer, no privileged process.
Once a report is signed, every annotation on every image is locked — and the lock travels with the data.
Pinned ROIs and length tools push straight into the matching NDT report template — no copy and paste, no losing the geometry.
